THE BIGGER PICTURE - PAUL KLEE - NIGHT GARDEN

https://www.paulklee.net/

This week we are going to be taking some time out of normal lockdown lesson themes and exploring the work of Paul Klee.

We are going to focus on his work that was made inspired by nighttime.

Using the same color Pallet as him Blues, Purples, Pinks, Black & White.

His work wasn't completely abstract because there were sometimes shapes of things that you could recognize. He was an artist that wanted to paint like a child exploring color and shape.

He painted from his imagination not from life and that's what we are going to do, make up our own individual paintings, but because they will all have they same colors they should match up when we put them together to make a bigger picture, or exhibition.

here is some videos about the artist that you can watch -
