POP ART KS4 - WEEK 3 - GRID SCALE TECHNIQUE

This week we are going to have a go at enlarging an image through drawing and using the grid technique.

You will need;

Pencil

Rubber

Pencil Sharpener

Ruler

Paper 

A print out of a Cartoon you Like.

First inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's work find a cartoon you like,

Watch the video above, you will need to draw out a grid over you image. scale this grid with 1 cm boxes.

On a sheet of Paper draw out a second grid this will be twice as big so the boxes will be 2cm each.

Look closely at each box on your picture and then draw what you see onto each box on the Larger grid.

You should spend about an hour on this task.
